Explore Nook™ Wooden Sand & Water Wheel

Introduce young learners to motion, gravity, and sensory play with the Wooden Sand & Water Wheel—a beautifully crafted, interactive resource that transforms pouring into discovery. Whether filled with fine sand, water, or other loose materials, this wheel brings physics to life as children observe how flow and force make the wheel spin. Perfect for sensory tables, outdoor play, or STEM explorations, it inspires curiosity and hands-on experimentation.

• WHAT’S INCLUDED: One wooden water and sand wheel with frame (9-1/4″ L x 3-3/4″ W x 13-1/4″ H), spinning wheel (9-1/2″ L x 4-3/4″ W x 8-3/4″ H), and removable funnel (3-3/4″ L x 3-1/8″ W x 5-3/4″ H); recommended for ages 3+.
• ENCOURAGES SCIENTIFIC THINKING: Sparks exploration of physics concepts like energy, gravity, and flow through hands-on experimentation.
• REMOVABLE FUNNEL FOR VERSATILE PLAY: Children can easily pour different materials and explore how they affect the wheel’s motion.
• DESIGNED FOR OUTDOOR OR INDOOR USE: Ideal for use with sensory tables, sandpits, or small backyard streams — place the wheel between sticks and let the water do the work.
• DURABLE, CHILD-SAFE CONSTRUCTION: Crafted from sustainably sourced wood and sealed with water-resistant, non-toxic oil for safe, lasting use across seasons.
