A told B, and B told C, and the rest, as they say, is children’s literature history. In this beloved alphabet classic, all twenty-six letters race to the top of a coconut tree in a lively, rhyming romp that has been a children’s favorite for over thirty years. Now available in a large-format lap board book edition, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is designed for shared reading — helping young learners follow each letter and illustration whether snuggled with a caregiver or gathered in a group.
With bold, cheerful, high-contrast art by Caldecott Honor-winning illustrator Lois Ehlert and irresistible rhyming text by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault, this durable oversized board book is perfect for storytime, classroom circle time, and read-alouds with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. A fun, catchy way to build early literacy skills and explore the ABCs, it’s also a standout gift for baby showers and birthdays.
